Emilia Romagna… a pleasant trip!
DAY 1° : RIMINI
Dinner and overnight in a 3-star hotel in the area of Rimini.
DAY 2° : RIMINI AND SAN MARINO
After breakfast in hotel, departure with local guide for San Marino, the smallest and oldest Republic of the world, famous for its three towers situated on the top of Mount Titano, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the coast. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit a local cellar in the area where you will have the chance to taste some wine and sample a few specialities of the region. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3° : SAN LEO AND VERRUCCHIO
Breakfast in hotel and departure with a local guide for an excursion to San Leo, a medieval town with a beautiful castle. Lunch will be taken in a typical restaurant where you will savour the local specialities. After lunch you will continue to Verrucchio for the visit of the Fortress dating back to the period of the Malatesta’s. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4° : RAVENNA AND VISIT TO FICO AGRI-FOOD PARK
After breakfast in hotel, departure with a local guide to Ravenna, which was once the capital of the Western Roman Empire. You will have a chance to admire the magnificent mosaics of the Baptistery and the mausoleums of Galla Placida and Teodorico, which are the masterpieces of the city.
Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon, visit of FICO, the first “agro-food park” dedicated to the development and enhancement of the Italian culinary specialities: learn how they are made, but you will also be able to taste and buy them. You will take part in a culinary workshop and learn how to prepare pasta, allowing you to harbour that experience for the rest of your life. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 5° : RIMINI AND HOME-JOURNEY
Breakfast in hotel and departure for your home-journey.
