DAY 1: ROME
Late afternoon arrival in Rome, the fascinating capital of Italy. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: ROME
Breakfast in hotel and visit today of the Ancient Rome: you will discover the Capitol Hill, which was the political and religious centre of the Empire from where you will have a perfect view on the Roman Forum..You will continue to the Arch of Constantine near the Colosseum and finally the Colosseum itself. Afternoon at your disposal. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: VATICAN
After breakfast in hotel, the morning will be dedicated to the Vatican Museums and its precious treasures, the Sistine Chapel with the beautiful fresco’s, one of Michelangelo’s wonderful accomplishments. You will also be able to admire St. Peter’s Cathedral, which attracts millions of Pilgrims every year and finally St. Peter’s Square. Afternoon at your disposal, we suggest you the visit of Castel Sant ‘Angelo. Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: BAROQUE ROME
Breakfast in hotel and visit of the Baroque Rome. You will take a walk to the Fountain of Trevi, the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and the Piazza di Spagna with its famous Spanish Steps. Afternoon at leisure to be charmed by this unique city. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
DAY 5: ROME – HOME JOURNEY
Breakfast in hotel and departure for your home-journey.
