GOURMET AND DELUXE TOUR IN CAMPANIA

DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival at Naples airport and transfer to Meta di Sorrento in a small charming hotel, free time and relaxation in the wellness area, swimming pool overlooking the sea.
Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: CAPRI BOAT TOUR
After breakfast, you will embark on a boat excursion to Capri and tour around the island. During the excursion, you will visit the caves and hidden beaches, the blue grotto (Grotta Azzurra) – if open for visits – and stop at Marina Grande, from where you will take the funicular to reach the heart of the village. Finally, you will stroll along the narrow alleys to the gourmet restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious tasting menu and wine pairing. In the afternoon free time for shopping.
Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 3: COOKING CLASS AND THE VESUVIUS
After breakfast, transfer to a restaurant in Vico Equense where you will enjoy a cooking class held by a famous chef and his Brigade de Cuisine. Lunch with tasting menu and wine pairing.
In the afternoon, transfer to mount Vesuvius and guided tour with a nature guide. After the tour, you will stop at a wine estate at the foot of the Vesuvius, visit the cellars and enjoy a wine tasting.
Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: POSITANO AND AMALFI BOAT TOUR
After breakfast, you will take a wonderful guided boat trip along the splendid Amalfi coast. Stop in Positano and visit this picturesque village. Shortly afterward, continue with the visit of Amalfi, the ancient Maritime Republic with millenary traditions and fabulous monuments. Free time for shopping.
Return to the hotel late in the afternoon, dinner with tasting menu and wine pairing in a local restaurant and overnight stay.
DAY 5: POMPEII AND THE ANCIENT ROMANS
After breakfast, departure for Pompeii and visit of the archaeological excavations of the ancient city of Pompeii, which have brought back to life the city as it was before the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Gourmet lunch with a tasting menu inspired by ancient Pompeian cuisine, with show cooking of a dish at the guests’ table, and specially baked bread according to ancient Roman recipes.
Transfer to Naples and free time for shopping.
Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: TOUR OF POSILLIPO
Breakfast and transfer to Posillipo hill for a visit to the Virgiliano Park, with a breathtaking view of the entire Gulf of Naples. You will have a chance to visit the cave of Seiano, a wonderful artificial tunnel discovered in 1840, and reach the submerged archaeological park to admire its submerged Villa Puasylipon.
Lunch in a magnificent restaurant housed in a palace overlooking the sea, with a lovely tasting menu and wine pairing.
After lunch, visit the Monastery of ‘Santa Chiara’, famous for its cloister covered in coloured tiles.
